My name is Mary (Genelin) Grieves. I am a life-long resident of Le Sueur, member of St. Anne’s Church and alumnae of St. Anne’s School. I graduated from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University with a BA in Elementary Education, licensed to teach grades K-6. This year marks my 30thyear in education! I began my teaching career at St. Anne’s, teaching fifth grade. After leaving to start my own family, I came back to St. Anne’s School to teach fourth grade, where I’ve spent most of my years. Currently I am in my 8thyear in Kindergarten and I love it! My husband Al and I have two sons, Lucas and Zachary, who are also St. Anne’s alums, and two cairn terriers, Harley and Tank. My interests include gardening and backyard birds which spills over into my classroom. I believe as a kindergarten teacher, I am responsible for providing my students with a positive learning experience.
I strive to model respect, patience, and genuine care for others.
